Meet Aprille
I got started in the cosmetologist career by accident. I was just about to graduate from high school and I got a job at a salon. It was my
first time being exposed to that environment and I loved it! The job came and went but my interest in the beauty business remained. I enrolled in Empire Beauty school shortly after. In 2002 I started at Salon 39. I apprenticed under Maritza. I knew there was more to the profession and she opened my eyes to it. This is what started me off on my six year path. Continuing education is very important for all of us here at Salon 39. I have attended many courses in the past six years. It keeps me fresh with ideas, updated techniques, and styles for what is happening in trends and fashion now. I have visited Vidal Sassoon two day courses three times. I have visited Toni&Guy Studio twice for two day courses. On top of my passion for cutting is my love for formal updo's. Taking classes from some of the top artists like Martin Parson, Zanya and Wella Studio. I have pure joy for my career and my work reflects that. Understanding hair texture and face structure is the difference between a good cut and a great cut!
